ZOE FELLOWS
The ZOE Fellows Program invites young adults into a year-long journey of vocational and spiritual discernment, accompanied by their local campus ministries and the wider ZOE network.
Fellows are searching — wildly and honestly — for a path forward, and the program gives that search shape: shared practices, a supportive cohort, and a community conspiring together toward flourishing.
What begins as personal discernment ripples outward, renewing programming at the local level and deepening the partnership between ZOE and its affiliated ministries.
How It Works
1. LAUNCH

Each January, ZOE Fellows gather to learn the framework of practices that will power their discernment. This is where students and their accompanying campus ministers take their first steps in conspiring toward flourishing.
2. Local Discernment Cohorts

Following the launch retreat, discernment cohorts begin at three to five ZOE-affiliated campus ministries, each following the Discernment Lab's framework. Every ministry shapes the experience to fit its own community — whether through a multi-week series, a retreat, or an online format.
3. Meaning-Making Interviews

As cohorts conclude, ZOE staff sit down with each fellow for a meaning-making interview, capturing their discernment journey and vision for the future. These conversations surface emerging calls to ministry leadership and become stories that fuel ZOE's resourcing of cohort participants.
4. Capstone & Celebration

The discernment process culminates in a capstone project with micro-grant, marking the fellow's transition into local or ministry leadership. Fellows are then celebrated by ZOE as part of a growing community shaping the future of campus ministry, the church, and the whole world.
