Rooted in our core values of Radical Welcome, Rooted in Faith, Justice and Mercy, and Growth in Community, Agape commits to being a community who supports and welcomes those interested in uplifting each other. We believe that our diversity makes us a stronger and healthier community and therefore celebrate and welcome people of all religions, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, and relationship status, and including people of all physical abilities, neurodivergence, cultures, beliefs, and any socio-politically assigned racial categories. Our welcome overcomes documentation status, addiction, physical or mental health, imprisonment, socio-economic circumstances, or anything that divides us. In particular, we commit this community to the internal and external, spiritual and systemic, struggles to overcome racism, white supremacy, classism, nationalism, ableism, sexism, heterosexism, and other inequities. Our commitment to welcome and care extends to the Earth and to honor the Kumeyaay, who live as part of this land forsince thousands of years before European colonization called it San Diego. We commit to create a sustainable community that actively works to the healing and flourishing of our planet and all its relationships. Come as you are. Know that you are valued as an integral part of this community.
